What Heart of Vegas actually is
Heart of Vegas Slots is a social casino app from Product Madness, the London-based mobile studio of Australian slot maker Aristocrat. You play with virtual coins. The app states that it does not offer gambling or any chance to win real money or prizes, and you must be 18 or older to play.
The app has been in the App Store since 2014. Product Madness also makes Lightning Link Casino, Cashman Casino and Mighty Fu Casino, so the four apps share much of the same Aristocrat game library.
How to play Heart of Vegas on your phone
- Download Heart of Vegas from the App Store (iOS 15 or later) or Google Play.
- Play as a guest or connect Facebook to keep your coins and level on other devices.
- Spin the Daily Wheel and collect the hourly bonus.
- Pick a machine, set your bet and spin. More machines open up as you level.
It is a big app at around 680 MB on iOS, so download it over Wi-Fi.
What you get in the app
The library is pure Aristocrat: Buffalo and Buffalo Gold, Mo’ Mummy, Lightning Link with Hold & Spin, Dragon Link, Sun & Moon, More Chilli, Queen of the Nile, Where’s the Gold, 50 Lions, 50 Dragons, Big Red and Dolphin Treasure, plus newer titles added regularly. For players who know these machines from a casino or club, that familiarity is the main reason to choose this app.
There are no table games. Extra coins come from the Daily Wheel, hourly bonuses, events and challenges.
Coins, ads and in-app purchases
Heart of Vegas is free to play, with optional coin packages in the shop. Google Play lists the Android app as containing ads. As in most social casino apps, the free coins go a long way at low bets but less so once you move to higher stakes.
Heart of Vegas in Australia

The machines look and sound like the cabinets they are based on. The app is stable but heavy, and older phones can feel slow. Ratings are strong: 4.6 stars from about 155,000 US App Store ratings, 4.5 from about 42,000 ratings in Australia and 4.7 on Google Play from about 490,000 reviews, with over 10 million downloads.
Who Heart of Vegas is for
It is the obvious choice if you like Aristocrat pokies and want to play them without risking money. Players who want table games or the newest in-house slot designs should look elsewhere.
Heart of Vegas compared with other slot apps
Lightning Link Casino uses the same studio and focuses on Hold & Spin link games. Quick Hit Slots and DoubleDown Casino offer Bally, WMS and IGT machines instead. Cash Frenzy has in-house slots built for portrait mode.
