Ozoon is the new name of Bodog’s Canadian casino, sportsbook and poker site. Bodog recently relaunched under the Ozoon name, and existing accounts, balances and logins moved over unchanged. Ozoon accepts players from most Canadian provinces and runs in the mobile browser on iPhone and Android.
This review covers how the Ozoon app works on mobile, the casino, poker room and sportsbook, the welcome offers, payments with Interac and crypto, and the provinces where you can play.
What is Ozoon?
Ozoon continues one of the oldest brands in online gambling. Behind the new name is the same platform Canadian Bodog players knew: one account and one wallet for casino, sports betting, horse racing and poker. Its sister brand for US players is Bovada, and the poker room shares its player pool with Bovada and Ignition. Ozoon is licensed by the Tobique Gaming Commission, the gaming authority of the Tobique First Nation in New Brunswick.
Ozoon on iPhone and Android
Ozoon runs in the mobile browser, so you don’t need to download anything to play on a phone or tablet. The casino lobby, sportsbook, poker tables and cashier are all available on mobile, and the site loads quickly over a normal 4G or 5G connection.
How to add Ozoon to your home screen
- iPhone: open the site in Safari, tap the share icon and choose “Add to Home Screen”.
- Android: open the site in Chrome, tap the three-dot menu and choose “Add to Home screen” or “Install app”.
Casino games
The casino offers slots, table games, live dealer tables and instant games such as crash games. Hot Drop Jackpots, known from the Bodog days, are still part of the lobby, with prizes that are guaranteed to drop before a set time. The live casino covers blackjack, roulette, baccarat and game shows.
Poker and sports betting
Poker has been a strong point since the Bodog days. You play cash games, fast-fold poker and tournaments on anonymous tables, which helps recreational players. Find more options in our overview of poker apps.
The sportsbook covers hockey, football, basketball, soccer and many other sports, with live betting and a racebook for horse racing. Compare it with other mobile sportsbooks in our guide to sports betting apps.
Welcome offers and promotions
Ozoon has separate welcome offers for the casino, the sportsbook and poker. The casino package is split over several deposits and combines match bonuses with free spins; crypto deposits get a larger version. Wagering requirements apply and differ per offer, so read the terms in the cashier before you opt in.
Deposits and withdrawals
Ozoon supports payment methods Canadians use every day, including Interac, Visa, Mastercard and bank transfers, plus Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Litecoin and Tether. Withdrawals are reviewed first, usually within a day for crypto, and a little longer for cheques and bank transfers. Crypto payouts are the fastest once approved.
License and safety
The Tobique Gaming Commission license lets Ozoon operate, but it is not a provincial license. Ontario’s regulated market doesn’t include Ozoon, and a court ordered Bodog to stop serving Manitoba. The brand has a long track record of paying players, but you don’t get the protection of a provincially regulated site. Use the deposit limits and time-outs in your account.
Where you can play
Ozoon accepts players from most of Canada. Ontario, Manitoba and New Brunswick are excluded, and players from the US can’t open an account. Using a VPN to get around these restrictions breaks the terms.
